Just installed the newest version of mavericks on my first built.
Here is my build:
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UDY TH
Intel Core i7 4790-K
EVGA Geforce GTX 760
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB
Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32 GB RAM
Used multibeast to install DSDT Free drivers aswell as Realtek ALC1150 for audio witch my motherboard is compitable with.
I have a monitor connected trough the HDMI port of the Geforce 760 Graphics card. (Graphic card on my motherboard are disabled in BIOS)
I have speakers connected trough the green slot back of the pc (motherboard).
But no sound.
I have tried all the settings I could find in the sound preference in OS X, but no luck.
Any ideas??
