Steps I tried:

Multibeast ALC1220 + 100 / 200 / 300 Series Audio.

Rebooted no sound (and no output devices). Tried 200 / 300 Series /X299 Audio Device ID Patch, rebooted, still nothing.

I uploaded my IOReg.

Thanks ! :)

Verify BIOS/.../Advanced/Onboard Devices .../HD Audio .../Enabled
See High Sierra - MultiBeast Audio for correct settings

Thank you. I will check ASAP once at home if it is enabled properly in my BIOS. I built this computer yesterday, as soon as it fully works, I will write a full review and update my profile :)

I must admit that I got confusing while reading the Guide.

Here there is this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-multibeast-audio.246618/
Before You Install Audio/Supported Methods - Verify HDEF, identify codec, disable SIP, mount EFI, set Audio ID
  1. cloverALC/AppleALC: Before You Install Audio/Post #1
  2. MultiBeast: Before You Install Audio/Post #2

Are we supposed to follow both methods CloverALC/AppleALC and multibeast, or we can only pick one of these ?

If I only pick the Multibeast method, according to this guide, https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...p-realtek-applehda-guide.219810/#post-1492288, I have done everything that had to be done, except for disabling SIP and rebooting after selecting only √ 100/200 Series Audio and then installing all the
  1. √ ALCxxx (Valid: ALC887/887B, ALC892, ALC1150, ALC1220, ALC1220A)
  2. √ 100 / 200 / 300 Series Audio
  3. √ 200 / 300 Series / X299 Audio Device ID Patch
at once.

Is SIP enabled by default ? If so, that explains why it did not work?

Thank you

Not both, pick one
If I only pick the Multibeast method
See Post #2 for MultiBeast selections

macOS, yes; tonymacx86 install disables SIP with Clover setting

IOReg shows no audio codec, not a SIP problem.

The only option in BIOS I have related to Audio is "Audio Controller" which is already Enabled.

The only way I was able to get sound, was with Lily.kext and AppleALC.kext. However, sound quality is sluggish.

Why isn't the Multibeast version working ? It should right ? If I format and try again, should it fixes ?

Thank you
