No Sound - ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2 (Realtek ALC887)

Hello everyone

I have everything else working in my build, but the audio doesn't work.
I ran Multibeast and checked the ALC887 kext. After restart, the sound icon is there, the output devices are listed, but there is no sound. When I switch the output device to headphones (which I was wearing), I heard a faint pop, but there is no sound.

Curiously, YouTube videos don't load - I assume because the output device doesn't actually work, so YouTube can't figure out where to send the sound output...

Has anyone had a similar experience with an ASUS motherboard or knows how this can be fixed?
