Hi

When I wake my machine and try to reload the sound either by LoadHDA.app or via terminal with:

sudo killall coreaudiod
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

It throws the following error:

(kernel) Can't unload kext com.apple.driver.AppleHDA; classes have instances:
(kernel) Kext com.apple.driver.AppleHDA class AppleHDAStream has 2 instances.
Failed to unload com.apple.driver.AppleHDA - (libkern/kext) kext is in use or retained (cannot unload).

I must mention I have a composite audio (analog 5.1 sound) and SOMETIMES switching the output from the composite audio to "Built in audio" fixes the issue.

Another thing that fixes the issue is to close and re-open all programs using audio, but that is very far from usable.
