No sound after OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (i think)

hey so my sound was working fine before i installed this update then after it would not work but i can push the sound up and down buttons and it shows the sound level rising etc but it wont make those clicking noises after the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4

Help me :?

I update to 10.7.4 and lost sound too

I check sound preference and found no device selected. I just select internal speaker then sound was back again.

Any software updates will overwrite your audio kexts, therefore you'll need to reinstall them using MultiBeast.

I have the same problem and i reinstalled audio kexts all.. but with no success

Did you click System Utilities under Multi Beast to repair permissions? It is a must for audio installs.
