No Sleep / awake with ga-z68mx-ud2h-b3 V1.3 and HD6870

Hi,
i bought a ga-z68mx-ud2h-b3 V 1.3 with i7k2600 and HD6870.
i made a clean installation to Lion 10.7.2 (Cimera 1.6)

Everything works but sleep/awake
The HD6870 go into sleep but not the mobo (CPU-Fan is always on)

I used the DSDT from this board and made one from scratch.
The same result ;-(

Sorry for my bad english ;-)


Any idea?

Hi,

I Have the same board with I5 2500K F5 Bios, I have an issue with the sleep too, not exactly the same problem. It sleep and wake, but at the reboot my bios is reset. Someone have a solution for this one too. My lion is install with the procedure found here.

P.S.: My 10.6.8 was working fine on the same hardware in 64 bits.

Lion 10.7.2 (64 bits)
GA-Z68mx-UD2H-B3 V1.0
HD6870
8 GB Ram

Hi again,
now it works ;-)

sudo

cd /System/Library/Extensions

rm -r NullCPUPowerManagement.kext/
rm -r JMicronATA.kext/
cd /Library/Caches
rm -r *

reboot and the sun is shining ;-)

Think it was the NullCPUPowerManagement
