No HDMI After Sleep

Small little problem here. I have second mirrored display on an hdtv via my HDMI output. Everything works fine, however, after I put my computer to sleep, the HDMI output no longer works. I have to restart in order to "re-awaken" the HDMI output. SysPref>Display>Detect Displays does nothing. Currently running 10.6.8.

I have this same issue with a 4670 on Lion 10.7.0. Everything work flawlessly except on sleep nothing on my hdmi monitor =(.
