Oh my, I can almost sense the same frustration you have with mine. I've been in the Hackintosh community since the first Intel-supported version of OS X. And due to my pleasant experience with them, I've bought a Macbook, 2 Macbook Pros, 2 Airs, a 2012 Mac mini and even an old 2008 iMac for collection over time. I've been so involved with Apple's Mac platform ever since, both genuine and the Hackintosh kind. I've upgraded from the first version up to this Sierra version no problem overall (though with some hitches along the way sometimes).
And this is the most frustrating time I've come to since this is perhaps the first version where I don't get to upgrade with the latest version in almost always less than two weeks. This is so frustrating and sad. And same as you, I hope someone will chime in with an idea to make us all make our 4K screens work soon enough. Let's keep our hopes high mate.
