Hello fellow hackintoshers!

My Build Is:

GIGABYTE Z270X-SLI

NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770 (2GB)

INTEL CORE i7-6700

I am running: Mojave 10.14.6

Sadly, there’s no internet connection showing up in Network settings.

I am wanting to connect by ethernet. I was able to do so with a Catalina install I did the other day.

The reason why I am downgrading to Mojave is because my audio interface is 32 bit, not 64 bit.

And so after googling my motherboard (Gigabyte Z270XP-SLI) + hackintosh, it is my understanding that IntelMausieEthernet is the kext I need to get it working…

However, I do have this exact kext placed in my EFI folder. Perhaps it needs to be placed elsewhere?

Cheers in advance ya'll!

I once again solved the problem myself lol!

I installed the IntelMausiEthernet.kext to System/Library/Extensions using KextBeast...

However...it was IntelMausiEthernet.kext version 2.5.0 (which appears to be incompatible with my motherboard's ethernet).

So then I decided to delete it from the above folder and used KextBeast again to re-install IntelMausi.kext version 1.0.3 instead.

And Voila! Works like magic now :)

System/Library/Extensions using KextBeast...
It's supposed to go in /Library/Extensions. Never install any third party kexts in /S/L/E.
