In process of troubleshooting a new installation of HS 10.13.4 on a new GA-Z370N-WIFI board. Booting is good, but no sound and "no output device" errors. I remove all traces of the previous audio kexts and patches I could find, did the following from Toleda using Multibeast 10.3.0, but negative results (i.e. still no output devices found):
200/Z370 Intel Motherboard Series
  1. Restart
  2. MultiBeast > Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx:
    1. √ 100 / 200 / 300 Series Audio Support
    2. √ 200 / 300 Series / X299 Audio Device ID Patch
  3. Build
  4. Install
  5. Restart
  6. MultiBeast > Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx
    1. √ ALCxxx (Valid: ALC887/887B, ALC892, ALC1150, ALC1220, ALC1220A)
  7. Build
  8. Install
  9. Restart

For assistance with Audio you should post in the Audio forum.
Read the 'sticky' guides first and be sure to comply with the Problem Reporting instructions or you will not get any help.
