stops to loading ...my little led in my screen is blinking and stops....black screen..
when i connect my hdmi in my graphic card it works fine...
i have dual boot with win 7 ...
the signal i thing is going first in my tv screen(hdmi connection) and after goes to my screen (vga connection)
if hdmi misses cant find my screen...
is this normal? has anyone else this problem?
i used chameleon bootloader and i tested chimera 1.11.1 with no luck
can someone tell me whats is going on?
Thanks in advance...
if the post is not in the right section please remove it there
Thanks

It is not clear what you are trying to do.
One thing that is clear is Apple has not supported VGA since G4 mini.
VGA will not work properly as there are no drivers for it in system.

i'm not trying to do anything..
i just had to remove my tv and i unpluged the hdmi ...
then i realized that my computer couldn't see my vga screen
ok ... so there is no drivers for vga...
if i get a connector from vga to dvi this do you thing will work?
(conect my screen to the dvi port in my graphic card)
or there is no drivers for dvi either?
when i installed mac i had no hdmi connected, and the vga screen worked fine...
i cant understand what is going on..
thanks in advance...

When machine posts it runs off graphics card bios ( not mb bios) when mac boots it switches over to OSX.
That is why signal light goes off.

Adapters will not change signal.
The only adapter I would suggest is HDMI/DVI.
DVI should work on TV and a DVI monitor. HDMI should work on TV and DVI monitor. Same signal.
HDMI has some extra capabilities which video card does not use. DVI is capable of carrying a VGA signal also.
But that does not mean it does in your case.

Does it work with just TV hooked up in OSX ?
TV with DVI should work with motherboard set to auto.
In Windows 7 you can use VGA and anything else but not in OSX.

Sometimes switching back and forth between one and two monitors and going from Windows to Mac and back
including using onboard video I have run into your situation. I pulled CMOS battery and started with one monitor.
If you pull battery you will have to reset bios of course. This happened to me and I did not even use VGA.

You did have a working installation before this happened?

ok..yes i had installation working before…
the Tv works fine with the hdmi in os x and win 7…
the vga signal is missing after the bios ...when tries to load the bootloader…
chameleon 2.2….
it shows (no optimum mode recommended mode 1366 x 768) and then starts blinking….
i pulled out hdmi and vga cables and reboot…it booted and then i plugged in vga cable and
the signal was ok…
i thing something wrong with the boot loader…
what do you thing?

Bootloader is OK;VGA just doesn't work very well.
I have had a VGA thing working on screen but it has been years.
Most of the mods (moderators) do not like VGA at all.
