No Audio On Clevo W350stq

I'm currently running El Capitan 10.11.4 on this laptop with full HD4000 graphics, and the only remaining big issue would be the sound. I've been trying to look for information about this particular sound device and I have no idea how to go about it.

I've also attached the codec_dump.txt which I ran from an Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 installation (I dual boot this laptop with separate hard drives for each OS).

I hope someone can help! I can follow guides, but I don't even know what kind of audio device I have (the user manual only mentions a High Definition sound card, not the chipset or anything that can help me).

Actually, if someone can help me figure out what kind of sound card I have, I might be able to follow one of the guides. But as of now I don't even know where to start

You have the wrong codec dump (it is for HDMI, and you need for onboard audio).

Aha, it was on /proc/asound/card1/codec#0

According to this codec dump, my onboard audio codec is Codec: VIA VT1802

Thanks for the pointer, I'll see what I can do with this information!
