Hi Everyone,

I just updated the Hack build I put together in 2012 with High Sierra. The install all went very well but I have a few issues. For one thing I have no audio. Any ideas what I might do to fix this?
Here is the build...
Gigabyte GA-Z68M-D2H motherboard
OCZ 600 Watt PSU
3.4 GHZ Intel i5 quad core processor
OCZ 120 GB solid state drive
3 TB storage
16 GB RAM
Sony Optiarc slot load CD DVD drive
Dynex Firewire card
EVGA nvidia GeForce 1024 MB video card
Apple Pro Mouse and Pro Keyboard
Asus 23" LCD
Harmon Kardon soundsticks and sub woofer

And here are my settings in Multibeast:

My mobo has built in realtek 889 audio. I installed what I think are the correct drivers but I obviously am missing something. Can anyone help walk me through this?

Sometimes audio can be trial and error.. reference some of the other discussions on the site. I would suggest attempting to install other options like Realtek ALC887/888b Legacy, Optional for 3 port audio. If this or other Realtek ALCs don't work there have been some gigabyte mobos in the past where I resorted to voodoo drivers, which actually worked. good luck.

Sometimes appleALC is needed (Enables native macOS HD audio for unsupported codecs without any filesystem modifications by vit9696. Installs Lilu.kext and AppleALC.kext to /Library/Extensions.)

I usually do UEFI Boot Mode with gigabyte mobos. I also think you want to use the nvidia driver boot option not the inject (or I guess your card is old so that can be right).
