No audio GA-X58A-UD3R FE v.2

Hey everyone. I'm having some problems with the audio on my set up. Right now I'm running 10.6.7 and everything is working perfectly except for my audio. I've tried just about everything I can think of to fix it: changing kexts, manual DSDT's, patches, etc. but nothing seems to be working, even with Multibeast. I followed just about every walkthrough I could find on the forum, but to no avail. My setup is listed below, if anyone could help before I put a hole through my monitor it would be greatly appreciated .

My rig:

GA-X58A-UD3R FE v.2
Intel Core i7 930
10 GB RAM
Corsaire 700w power supply
ATI Radeon HD 5770
Running OSX 10.6.7

I used the latest release of Multibeast and iBoot to setup my rig. Please let me know if you need more info.

I assumed you installed the HDA8XX kext and also select AppleHDA rollback in multibeast?

look inside System/Library/Extention and find out which version of the AppleHDA.kext is...

Yeah, that's correct. That's what I installed with Multibeast the first time. Right now the AppleHDA kext is version 1.7.9a4.

That's the correct "rollback" version which I also had using along with my GA-P55-USB3.
BTW, are you using DSDT?

I am having the same issue as well with audio..

I tried with the DSDT and with easybeast didn't work.

Installed the HDA8XX kext and also select AppleHDA rollback with no joy.

Checked the chip on the board its alc889 chip

any suggestions would be great...

Exact same situation. I'm on SL 10.6.8 everything works perfect except Sound!!! HELP!!!
