No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Status
Not open for further replies.
The attached AppleHDA.kext shows you ran audio_cloverALC-100.command, not audio_realtekALC-100.command as noted above. The config.plist does not show audio_cloverALC-100.command patches.
No need to try ALC injection or Clover/HDEF.
Download and run audio_cloverALC-100.command.zip
Reply with Terminal Output and attach updated files.

Thank you. I will try thus again. So you said I rand the alc clover before and to do it again. And give you results. Just curious. I will try tonight or tomorrow.

EDIT I have sound now but when i put it to sleep it goes to half volume but the volume bar says its max

Hello Toleda,

I'm having some issues with my setup of an ALC1150. It was working fine up until the moment I changed my GPU (My GTX770 went faulty and had the chance to get a R9 290x instead)

All is working but audio...

You have my OSX Version and hardware in the screenshot.
In addition to that info am using :
Motherboard : Gyigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 with F5 BIOS

Originally I used Multibeast Maverik to install the AppleHDA.kext.

After 10.10.2 update, sound was gone, so I used Multibeast Yosemite and installed it again using the ALC1150 driver + Optional EFI Installed Bootloader Support.

Attached you have an archive with the requested information. Hope you can help.

BTW sound is working on Windows

Regards
Chris

AppleHDA.kext is damaged.
MultiBeast 7 - Select: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > √ ALC887 current.

You sir.. are a genius! I love you now. :D I have sounds! YAY!

After 10.10.2 update, sound was gone, so I used Multibeast Yosemite and installed it again using the ALC1150 driver + Optional EFI Installed Bootloader Support.
Console/All Messages is not helpful
debug.log is missing
Audio codec is disabled, verify BIOS/Peripherals/Audio Controller/Enabled
No OS X audio until the codec appears in DPCIManager/Status.

Thank you Toleda. I did verify that I have Rev 1.0 and have unplugged the green port, and only have the orange and black line outs plugged in.

Can you clarify how I verify "BIOS/Advanced/Audio Controller/Enabled"? Am I opening up the AppleHDA.kext file to look for some type of text? Do I need to reboot and go into bios to look for a particular setting?

Als, on the recommended step "MultiBeast 7.1.1 - Select: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > √ ALC 898" I've done this several times, just want to make sure I need to do again..

Thanks for your help,

Mark
