Successes !!!

Can you recommend the best method for a noob like me and activate the hdmi audio?

Thanks in advanced

The issue appears to be SMC keys; find and remove the second FakeSMC.kext.
This problem is not related to audio, off topic.

If that's not related to audio, then why does my audio not work know with clover?

Hi Toleda,

I have a problem with a fresh hackintosh install.

1. No audio devices appear in System Prefs/Sound or Audio MIDI Setup
2. OSX Yosemite 10.10, GA-H97N-WIFI, F6, Core i5 4460, Gigabyte GTX 970
3. Used this guide, the DPCIManager found two audio devices (one is Realtek ALC888B and the other is Nvidia). I installed the Realtek ALCxxx > √ ALC892 driver and the Optional HDAEnabler (kext) > √ Audio ID: 1 with Multibeast 7.2.0.

For what it's worth, I didn't need to merge the 3 kext files (referring back to posts #148 & #149). I selected all 3 components simultaneously in Pacifist and when I exported them to my desktop, they automatically all merged into the single kext file. So I skipped the FileMerge step and was able to install at that point.

I'm on my 3rd build, this time using a ga-z97x-ud5h, and this is the first time the native AppleHDA.kext file didn't install. I didn't want to do a complete os reinstall, so I really appreciate the instructions. Thank you rockinwaggy and toleda.
