4. Audio ALC Injection Output Attached "audio_codecdetectOutput.txt"
5. IOReg attached "hdefOutput.ioreg"
6. AppleHDA.kext attached "AppleHDA.kext.zip"
7. No AppleHDAxxx.kext is installed
8. Don't know how to find whats needed. When searching threw all messages no Sound Assertions were found.

no audio devices
Are you using Clover in Legacy mode? If yes, why?
config.plist is damaged, replace.
See Post #1, set:
I. No Audio Output
1. OS X Version
1. 10.12 and newer
2. CLOVER/config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/NO (all or remove)

hi toleda,
i tried to follow your instructions, so far what i managed to do is:
1- multibeast inject
  • Optional 100 Series Audio
2- run audio_cloverALC-120.command_v1.0d (process completed)
3- put SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1,2,3.aml in efi patched

but then i run audio_codecdetect.command_v2.0 and this is what i get:

Onboard audio codec
Realtek: 0x10ec0900
Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem; FIX:
ghdefpciname = NONE
ghdefpciname1 =
BIOS problem, set BIOS/.../HD Audio/Enabled
ACPI problem, try:
https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALCInjection/tree/master/ssdt_hdef/
ssdt_hdef-1-no_ioreg/hdef
No system files were changed

i can't find hdaudio setting in bios (gigabyte, f4)
could you tell me what to try in order to fix this?
i'm running el capitan 10.11.6 (15G31)

Thanks toleda for that quick reply!

Indeed I am not using clover in legacy mode, I just didn't pay enough attention to the installer, sorry.
Now I installed the latest clover version and cleaned all the files.
Now if I am trying to reinstall the script II. version. I run into the no codec error. Though I didn't really know how to fix the damaged config.
Here are the files:
4. audiodetect attached "audiodetectOutput.txt"
5. IOReg output "RegistryOutput.ioreg"
6. AppleHDA "AppleHDA.kext.zip"
7. None present
8. Didn't found any when searching the console
9. "DPCIManager.png" "SystemInfo.png" (sry in German)
10. "cloverALC-120CommandOut.txt"
11. not installed
12. 1. "config.plist" (still damaged?) 2. "BootLog.txt" 3. not installed 4. not installed
I migrated in addition to the OS update to another drive (2. EFI drives currently installed)

I Hope these are the necessary infos and I hope I am doing it right!

I run into the no codec error.
Not sure what happened, neither Clover or DPCIManager see the codec. No audio until the codec appears.
config.plist is now loadable, however, KextsToPatch has been removed, why?

Ok...so...i think i figured this out. I installed Sierra on a new SSD and kept El Capitan on the old SSD. when both are plugged in, Audio doesn't work in sierra or El Capitan. So, I unplegged El Capitan and now Sound works. So hold off on this request. Investigating more...
