I've performed a clean installation, just in case. I have installed multibeast 8.0.1 with the alc887 patches
these are my files now.

No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA Help needed

Hi,

I wondered if anyone could help. I've successfully installed El Capitan and all funciotns brilliantly but I'm having sound problems. No audio device listed.

Here's my reporting:

No Audio Device - hence no sound

OSX 10.11.3

GA-EX58-UD5 Rev 2.0

I understand this physically is ALC889????

Bios F13

2.67 GHz Intel Core i7

6 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX 512 MB

MultiBeast 8

Clover Legacy Boot

I selected Realtek Audio ALC889

Attached files:

Multibeast config

DSDT.aml

audio codec detect - reports ALC885 - I don’t understand, when I selected 889 in Multibeast?

IOReg

AppleHDA kext

AppleHDA Kext Backup - is this the original OSX Kext?

No other HDA kexts Installed

DCPI Status Screenshot

kernel Sound Assertions reports nothing / nil / nada in console

Clover config.plist

Could not find Boot Log

I hope someone can point me in the right direction

Thanks

No audio until Codec ID shows up in DPIManager/Status
Likely a hardware problem.

Yes, i know that. that was my original post. But how do i solve it?? There must be something that i can do, isn't it?

Audio works fine in windows and linux.

Thanks already.

Alright. So Item 7 removed.

At least now audio_codecdetect.command gives me some codec info. So a step further. But I still get Audio ID 0 when I check with IORegistryExplorer after Inject - 1 in config.plist.

I tried point 4.2 and 4.4 in Audio_ID verification/IORegistryExplorer without that helping to set the Audio ID.

Update files attached.
Thanks buddy.
