That worked Toleda!!! Thanks so much!

To confirm for everyone's reference, my issue was that the AppleHDA.kext and my Yosemite OS version were not the same.

I updated OS to 10.10.2, restarted, reinstalled ALC898 with HDA Enabler =1 via Multibeast 7.2.2., restarted, and I have sound and all output options now showing..

I appreciate your help...

Mark

Just reporting in. Had the exact same issue with the same motherboard.

Z77X-UD5H.

Followed through with this case and all I had to do was install 10.10.2 combined and upon restart all my options and sound were back.

Thanks!

I see 4 ¡output hdmi¡, but I have not audio with realtek 1150. No audio and no audi devices.

I dont kwow what can I do.

I followed everything in your guide and everything checks out.
Appears 3 different methods are installed;each method works on its own, all methods fail when combined.
Remove S/L/E/AppleHDA892.kext and restart.
Reply with new IOReg.

I started following the instructions in the first post, but after I added kext-dev-mode=1 my audio output devices showed up. Is this just a result of enabling a debugger of some sort and should I continue troubleshooting to figure out what the issue really is?

My motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD3H
Audio is ALC1150

Thanks
