Status
Not open for further replies.
I tried to patch AppleHDA.kext.
Right now i just get sound assertions. and no devices under sound preferences.

I'm running 10.10.3, is a Thinkpad t440p / i5 4300m / HD4600

The dump from linux says ALC 292.

Hopefully this is something simple to fix

Thanks in advance!!

Edit:
I saw that this is desktop only, please disregard my message.

Hi,

My audio was working fine with 10.10.3 on the old ssd.. i had to replace it because it stopped working, so i restored to a new ssd using Time Machine.

I have selected ALC892 in Multibeast, and Kext Dev Mode is enabled...

i don't know why it is not working...

Thanks

I'm relatively new to the mac world. I am not sure if I understood step 2/3 in Section I No Output Devices Found. Want to be able to use front or rear audio out port to get audio to work. Let me know if you need more info.

1. No audio devices appear
See Post #1/I. No Output Devices Found5. System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext Verification
OS X_v10.10
AppleHDA.kext_v10.10.3
Result, no audio.
Did you install MultiBeast audio? Did you try to patch the MultiBeast audio?

Choices:
1. Download MultiBeast 7.0.2 and install ALC 1150 audio
2. Install 10.10 over current install, update OS X to 10.10.3 and run script

Thanks toleda. Got it working for now by going back to multibeast 7.0.2.
