I’m having no luck getting audio to work in Sierra. Worked fine in ElCap. ALC1150 GAZ97X-UD3H mobo.

Tried all methods – toledo, multibeast, audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b, AppleALC.kext, Apple HDA Patcher.app…

Script says "no audio codec detected"

Anyone have any luck?

Hi am looking for assistance with getting the audio working on my current build but no luck. Tried the
audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0 script but no luck tried the multibeast 9 no luck either. I have tried had enablers also no luck either. In System Report Audio Devices no device shows up at all. This is the setup Board: Asus P8P67 Deluxe with Realtek ALC 889 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC. I've attached the information here. Don't know the location of clover boot log file to upload. Can anyone assist me with the location of this so I can add here thanks.

Toleda, I mounted EFI 0,1 reinstalled audio with the AudioClover ALC 120, but still nothing.
Also if i open Clover configurator it says current booted version 3270 (old).
How can I get the system to boot from the new version?

Thanks toleda you were right I did and bios downgrade and the audio started working just fine. Thanks a lot for the help
