No audio after 10.10.5 upgrade

As in the header of this thread, I encountered this annoying issue after upgrading.

The motherboard is a H55M-U2DH and it should use ALC 889. Although I have selected this kind of codec, I got no sound, although kexts seems installed. In fact, ind System Preference I can access to the audio section but speakers, although selected and volume set to max, remains muted.

Is there a way to reset audio kext and preferences and how.

Thanks toleda. Unfortunately it's a long time I'm not involved with hackintosh, thus I lost my elasticity to solve issues by myself.
