I just updated to 10.7.2 and it all went fine until i tried to open iCloud.

iCloud said that i couln't log in or something so i searched the forums and found other people with the same problem and they said that updating to the newest chimera would make it work.

So i updated to the newest Chimera and now when i try to boot with -v it says:
"Still waiting for root device."

Please help me!

Can someone help me? :)

Try to boot with rBoot, can be found in downloads section.
Then recover your bootloader.
Then follow the other methods in official icloud guides.

I have the same problem however rboot wont boot my system either.
Tried all the flags.

Can anyone suggest another boot cd with an older version of chimera?

Or how to make one?

Ok - Back up and running but it got dicey there for a while.

rboot wouldn't allow me to boot back into lion so I looked for alternatives.

the good folk over at osx86 have some other boot loaders to try: http://www.osx86.net/view/1907-lionboot.html

This one worked for me - but only with -v -x -f flags.

was able to boot back into lion to resume fixing.

Ok thats good. Now you know what to use when you change the bootloader and if it fails.
Try the latest chameleon: after Chameleon v2.1svn r1618 they have the icloud and facetime fix included, latest is r1657. You can find them in the link you gave.

Good luck.
Come back if you still have issues.

If iCloud tells you that your account isn't valid. It's a network issue. If you are using Wifi, it's set to en0 and needs to be en1 and your onboard LAN set to en0. Delete for devices from preferences and re-add them in the right order.
