Hi,
Even if I been reading the last month about compatibility and a lot about Hackintoshes I”m still not 100% sure that my choice will fully run.
So this is the specs I”ve chosen:
Intel Xeon E3-1230V3 Haswell, 3.3GHz, 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1150, 80W Quad-Core Server Processor BX80646E31230V3 - went with this one couse the price tag is preatty good for me
ASUS H87M-E -LGA1150 Intel H87 Chipset HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 uATX Motherboard
EVGA 02G-P4-3744-KR GeForce GT 740 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card
Crucial 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT102464BA160B
Zalman High Performance ATX Mid Tower Case - Red/Black Z11PLUS HF1
Corsair CX Series 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze ATX12V/EPS12V 744 Power Supply CX750M
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter, 2.4GHz 450Mbps/5GHz 450Mbps, IEEE 802.1a/b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2
I own an 256GB SSD and couple more HDD for storages. I plan to run only OS X Yosemite on the system, so no dual system.
The build is mainly for Photo Editing (PS and LR) - I will heavily simultaneously export RAWs from both softer wears and occasionally video editing in Premiere Pro, but nothing fancy.
I plain to use 2 monitors - one Full HD (21,5 inch) and another 2.5k (27 inch)
Please, any help would be very very very helpful since I never build even a PC, not talking about Hackintoshes
My main concern is about the compatibility between the hard part and if the soft installation on this build will be a pain or not
Thank you all in advance !
