new monitor causing boot screen issues after 50% progress

thanks to everybody who has helped me get my hack up and running. it's been a wonderful journey, and things have been great since 10.10.

i recently got a 24" cinema display to polish off the hackintosh, but i've encountered a few issues since.

i was able to restore the clover resolution to 1920x1200, but half-way through the progress bar, the screen flickers and now the progress bar is in the bottom left corner of the screen. i can't figure out why.



sorry about the LED display glare LOL. but you can see in the 2nd photo, everything looks great. at about 50%, the screen flashes and then the progress bar completes in the bottom left.

any ideas?

i know i'm splitting hairs at this point, but isn't this about the pursuit of an OEM experience?

I've had the same issue constantly. However, I'm more concerned about boot times than the couple seconds that my screen is like that.
