I wrote and tested that...
Bingo ! It worked for all USB ports, 2 and 3, right and left, plugged and unplugged.
Thanks !

PS: after further experiments, only USB2 devices as Keys or HD are recognized on USB3 (left) ports
USB3 HDs not as USB3 at all,ONLY after a wake from deep sleep or at boot, but ok on USB2 (right)ports !

PS2: after more experiments, USB3 (Toshiba 500GB), USB3 HD is connecting/disconnecting/connecting OK, as USB3, on demand on plugging/unplugging, after a wake . WHY not normally???

What is "normally?"

What is "normally?"

As you can do in common use, at any moment, not only at boot or after a wake.

Sorry for some false words, I'm french !

Confused... so you're saying there is a difference which depends on how long after a boot/wake that you wait before connecting/disconnecting the device?

No, after a normal boot, connection of any of my 2 USB3 HDs don't work, no one is appearing. The light is on but not mounting.
I set the sleep manually, wake the PB... boom, they are appearing un the USB3 left ports and working.
As they do when connected at boot
I can, at this moment , mount/dismount them as I want.

So to summarize/clarify:

USB3 HDD connected prior to boot: working.
USB3 HDD connected after boot but before first sleep/wake cycle: not working.
USB3 HDD connected prior to sleep and during boot, upon wake: working.
USB3 HDD disconnected during boot, connected during sleep, and upon wake: ???

1/Working
2/Not working
3/Working, connected and disconnected on demand after wake (I was false in my first attempt)

It would be great if you could edit your post to include:
- the version of GenericUSBXHCI you're using
- whether you're using the -gux_defer_usb2 flag
- the specific devices and ports you are testing with

That way others having the same issue can compare notes with you...

GenericUSBXHCI v.1.2.5 with dump in /usr/local/bin
I'm using the "-gux_defer_usb2" in org.chameleon.Boot.plist with kernel flags
I'm using 2 USB3 HD Toshiba Stor E edition 500GB 7200RPM, 2 USB2 Sandisk 8GB Keys
Connecting USB3 devices on left USB3 Ports and upper USB2 Right port (which always set the HDs mounting)
