Reckoned it warranted another thread as it's a whole new issue.
I tried doing the DSDT but I completely screwed it up. After I finished installing multibeast, I restarted and it would not bring me to the log in screen. It was a blackscreen and the output ended with something about system uptime in nanoseconds. It also indicated that the "type" was Mac Mini which is obviously not a laptop.
So I'm back at square one, reinstalling OSX.
Here's a status report from before I installed Multibeast:
It only boots up in safe mode (-x)
The mouse button doesn't work (trackpad)
The mouse wheel is inverted (that is, scrolling down is up. Sort of like flight simulator controls)
Only displays in 1024*800 (I think. I expect this will be resolved with proper drivers)
The trackpoint doesn't work at all (Maybe it's also a driver issue?)
Which drivers should be using?
Graphics: Intel HD3000
Audio: Conexant CX20671 SmartAudio HD
WAN: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230
Ethernet: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (although I don't think I will need to install this as it was working off the bat last time)
