Right, I've now built the hackintosh (my first). She's sitting next to me with the BIOS primed and ready to go. I'm picking up the Snow Leopard disk tomorrow and, after iBoot + MultiBeast, plan to go straight on to Lion.

My question is, do I just get Snow Leopard up and running and then move straight on to xMove + MultiBeast, or spend some time ironing out the creases in the system before updating? It seems sensible to me to go straight on to Lion as I imagine some things will only need dealing with twice otherwise, but I'm happy to bow to others' better judgement on this.

Ta ver' much!

I would just move straight to Lion, personally. Save the bug fixing for it, instead of trying to make SL run perfectly. As long as you have networking going on the SL install, you should be pretty good to go with Lion.

Thanks for the reassurance. Here's hoping for a smooth run...
