Need an advice.

Planning to build a macx86 system for home use - general computer activities, amateur photo processing, home video editing.
Having read some of the texts on this site I tried to figure out a following set of hardware:

MB s1156 iP55 Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
CPU s1156 Intel Core i5 650 <3.20GHz/4Mb> [OEM]
2 x DDR3 2048Mb 1333Mhz Kingston [KVR1333D3N9/2G]
GeForÑe PCI-E card, GT220 1024Mb DDR3 Palit HDMI, DVI, rtl
DVD±RW SONY-Optiarc AD-7260S-0S SATA,silver
HDD 500 GB Seagate Barracuda (7200) 16Mb SATAII-300 [ST3500418AS]
CASE Thermaltake Tsunami 400W Silver [VA3400SNAED]
Cooler Thermaltake s1156 ISGC-400 [CL-P0540]

What do you think of this prospective system? Are those components likely to work well with Mac OS X? Do I need to change anything?

UPD
I also have a Windows computer, the hardware shown by the CPUID PCWizard is:

Motherboard : MSI MS-7366
Memory: PDP Systems, 2 x 2048 Mb DDR2-SDRAM PC2-5300, PSD22G6672
CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Video: Sapphire HD 3750 with 512 Mb SDRAM
DVD: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7243S ATA Device
HDDs: WDC WD3200AAJS-62B4A0 and WDC WD10EACS-00D6B1

Maybe it will be possible to modify it in order to build a hackintosh?

Would appreciate any help.

Everything looks good, but 400W may be a bit low. I wouldn't go with anything less than 500W, and ideally a Corsair one. Also are you going to be using an aftermarket CPU cooler? Please, do not use the stock CPU cooler.

You could turn that into a hackintosh with 2 components:
- A compatible motherboard (something like a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L)
- A compatible graphics card (a cheap option is a 8400 GS 512Mb)

I could purchase one of the DDR2 mobos like Gigabyte GA-G41M-COMBO or GA-G41M-ES2L, which are both easily accessible to me right now.
Will using one or another make any difference?

Combo, I've read many problems with hackintoshing it.

ES2L...how about a guide and a ready-made DSDT for your processor? :D

Thank you.
Now I am considering a modification of my existing system. Well, there is a danger to fail with that and in the end to pay more money since I will buy new components for the old system and the new build also. But hope I'll not fail with the modification.

Seems like I will not find easily the 8400 GS board in the local stores. And seriouly doubt internet stores will deliver anything quickly due to our looooong national holidays till Jan, 11.

If I choose smth from the G/GT 2xx line, what could be the best affordable option considering the chosen mobo?

GT 240?

The store which is just next door offers this.

Which one could be the best choice?
