New Build Wont play ANY video

I just finished my new El Capitan build, using the mac mini deluxe guide on this site. Instillation went amazingly smooth, but now i cant get any video to play. itunes or non itunes video(videos from dvds). This was with no graphics card at all, just using the integrated graphics on the mother board. When i installed a GPU, (also from the buyers guide), it wont even boot up now? It shows the apple logo, then gets stuck on a dotted white circle

You will need to install the Nvidia web drivers and add the boot flag nvda_drv=1.

sorry, this is my first build, and i'm still pretty stupid, lol. what does that mean/ how do i do that?

when you are booting add the flag nvda_drv=1

Now, i got another problem. it wont boot at all, with or with out the graphics card.
