I've just built my first Hackintosh. Hopefully you can see the particulars. I haven't had any serious issues, everything seems minor so far.

The only two things I can't seem to figure out is:

1. When logged in as admin I can't set permissions to the startup disk. In this instance I was trying to change "admin" to "read & write". I logged in as root, and still same problem. I don't have this issue on my macbook pro when logged in as admin. Screenshot below.

2. When I put the computer to sleep, the screen doesn't go black, it just freezes. Then I wiggle the mouse and it brings me to the login screen, and I can log in fine.

I've managed to solve everything else so far with clover configurator, nothing traumatic.

Any assistance appreciated.

Issue resolved as far as disk permissions.

1. reboot in recovery mode, used terminal and CSRUTIL disable command
2. Booted into mac os, and in terminal used sudo mount -uw / command

Note: must use the sudo mount -uw / every time I reboot and when I want to change permissions. First world problem in my book.

Still working the display not going to sleep issue.
