New Apple 27" Monitor

I am currently using two 24" HP Monitors (each with 1920x1200 displays). I was thinking of getting one of the new Apple 27" monitors (http://www.apple.com/displays/) and was wondering if the built-in camera will work with my Hackintosh.

I believe the camera works through firewire and I will likely need a need a DVI to Display adapter.

I don't see why not.. Just depends on how it plugs in. I'm not sure if they are like their old screens, where you had to plug individual USB & Firewire cables into your computer, or if it's recognised through the display port?

Might pay to check it out in a store..

I think it comes with a 3 component cable:
- mini display port
- usb (for hub)
- firewire (for webcam and mic)

It is miniDP, USB, MagSafe.

USB is for the camera, sound, light sensor, etc.
