I have a 10.8 mountain lion system. I Have the realtek ALC 889 sound controller on the motherboard. I seem to be doing something wrong with multi beast as I select the ALC 889 driver in multi beast, click install and nothing happens after, including at restart.
What am I missing? If anyone also has a fix for USB 3.0. The controller is a common one, although I can't recall the exact model

Any help would be appreciated. I am not good at UNIX so a terminal approach would not be ideal. Any kext wizard remedies or proper use of multi beast would be greatly appreciated, thanks again
