Need help with new purchase

Hello everyone

I am planning to update my hardware and I need advice regarding all the components for a customac (mobo, cpu, RAM, power supply, ...) that will run smoothly with no hustles
I use my computer mainly for browsing, watching movies and doing office work (simple data analysis, pages, and keynote mainly). Sometimes simple video/photo editing.
I am planning to install windows also alongside MacOS.
I also heard that there a rise in the prices of processors due to the current covid situation and it is better to wait until next year before buying. Is that true????

The processors are not excessively over priced the way that graphics cards are right now. You can always use the Intel iGPU until gfx card prices come back down.

Do you think that I will need a dGPU later on? I was planning to rely only on the iGPU as I do not game or use heavy graphics

Try it for a few weeks and see if the UHD630 iGPU does what you need it to.
