Need Help With Dell N7110 (80% working)
Hello,
I'm currently writing from 10.8.2 (finally have a mostly working ML). I've installed the OS without a DSDT, as I was unable to find one for my laptop.
Here's what works (with or without extra kexts):
USB 2 (1 Port)
SDHC Card Reader (Out of the box)
Keyboard/Trackpad (VoodooPS2 kext)
Ethernet (Realtek kext)
Here's what works to an extent:
USB 3 (2 Ports) (using 1.0.11 of PXHCD, but it loads 100% CPU, and freezes programs sometimes)
Display (But not HD3000)
Laptop Specs:
Processor: 2.4 Ghz Intel i5 2430M
RAM: 6GB 1333 MHz
Motherboard: HM67
USB3: Resanas
Harddrive: 500GB
Graphics: Built In HD3000
My biggest concern is getting the USB 3 working properly, as I have a usb network adapter for internet because my WiFi is not compatible at all with Mac OS X (Intel Centrino 1030). I do also want the HD3000 working so I can have a better resolution than 1024x768 on a 17" screen.
Regards,
Jordan R.
