Here's my specs:

Intel Core i3-2105 3.1 GHz (until i7-3770K is available)
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 580
16 GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X RAM
Corsair Force Series 3 240 GB SATA 3 SSD
Corsair Professional Series 850W PSU
Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra gaming super tower case
ViewSonic 27" Full HD Monitor

I installed OS X 10.7.3 via UniBeast 1.3 (had to boot to install using npci=0x2000). Ran MultiBeast 4.3.2 using UserDSDT (from 2nd post here), checking all of my components. Networking works, USB 3 works, 580 support works, everything works... except audio. The audio chipset is Realtek ALC898, which it sounds like is kind of goofy. The UserDSDT made everything show up in System Preferences, and System Profiler, but the audio in Menu Bar was still grayed out, no matter which port I plugged into. I tried downloading the next here, and following those directions as well. That made the icon in the Menu Bar black, as well as allowing me to move the sound slider, but still no audio out of any of the ports.

Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!

Still need help.

Have you tried the stuff in this post where you create an aggregate device.

It just sounds like your audio is set to like to digital out if you go and switch it to analog then that then it might work.

Don't know I'm a noob at this stuff :)
