need help update gone bad.

A while back i installed snow leopard 10.6.6 on my intel pc. Updated to 10.6.7 and got everything working. I just ran another software update and rebooted and now im getting kernel mismatch ?. What does that mean ?. I did not make a backup of the OS X. Is there a way to recover or roll back the update ? Did it update to os x lion ? I dont know but its reporting a kernel mismatch that much i know. Help please

Firstly i wonder how you installed 10.6.6. Is it from your Disk or through any software upgrade from a smaller version? Try using update helper. It should help
