Hi everyone.
I would like to get from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0. ?
I'm stuck, some help would be real nice.
Is there something missing ?
Is there something else I can do try to get USB 3 ?

I've tried a few time to get this right with all step from the USB 3 guide.

I've made the following steps:
El capitan 10.11.1, with clover. Mobo : giga-UD5H serie 9

Add to clover :

  1. change _OSI to XOSI /HEX 5F4F5349 / HEX 584F5349
  2. change EHC1 to EH01 / 45484331 / 45483031
  3. change EHC2 to EH02 / 45484332 / 45483032

The simulation windows from Rehabman
Add to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched

Add kexts
FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext
FakePCIID.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
XHCI-9-series.kext

From your description, you're probably running into the port limit. Since you're using FakePCIID_XHCIMux and USBInjectAll.kext, you should probably use kernel flag -uia_exclude_hs

I'll try this.
I put this into 'custom flags' in clover ?

thanks

Alright the Flag must not be written correctly or this is simply not the solution. Here you can see I got USB 2 and USB 3 but no device will show up under USB 3... in fact they are all connected to USB 3 on the back of the Mobo.

Thank for help.

If you you're using FakePCIID_XHCIMux, all USB2 devices connected to XHCI will route to EHCI, which will result in exactly what you see.

To test USB3, you need to use USB3 devices.

indeed. you were right.
USB 3.0 device work and showup under USB 3.0.
IT WORK !!! :headbang:

I Hope this post will help other stuck at this stage of fixing USB ports...
