Hi everyone!
After trying to install Yosemite on my Laptop the whole day... literally I finally gave up and am posting on this firum for help. After watching this video http://youtu.be/VSYkUkngdb4 i was inspired to dual boot osx yosemite onto my laptop. I have an Acer s7 392 ultrabook with a intel core i5-4200u processor. Anyways I ran osx mavericks through vmware and created my unibeast flashdrive successfully. After that i changed my bios like he said in the video and when i tried to boot into yosemite i would see the apple logo for a split second and than it would restart all over again. Heres a video of me doing it http://youtu.be/Bp6o2x3U5UA .I tried everything I could find. I have no clue what to do now. I used some commands like -v and all these long ones and i still had the same problem. I read somewhere that I might need to patch my bios or something but i dont want to do that if Im not sure. And I was also wondering if I could just download yosemite on the same ssd as i currently have my windows on.. or if i have to completely delete everything off my laptop (including windows 8 which came on my laptop)and start from scratch. I've literally been at this the whole day and cant find a solution. I would really appreciate some help as I am sort of a noob to this. Ive done thinks like jailbreaking and all kinds of things but this is one of those projects that is pissing me off lol. Anyways I would really appreciate some guidance! Thank you!
