Hi, I have built a new PC in this week and am interested to install the mac os 10.14.1. The main components are Intel i9 9900k and Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI. I created a Bootable USB Drive with UniBeast in order to follow the procedure. I managed to boot from the USB and erased the disk in order to install the os. I was waiting for five minutes, and then it rebooted. Next, it restated and selected to install from EFI disk. However, this is the main problem which I am facing. Even though , it boots normally, when the screens shows the bar about the installation, it is freezing after two or thee seconds, and then it reboots. I am following the same step (I selected to install from the EFI disk), and then it shows that the os can not be installed.

Could someone assist me to fix this issue, please?
Thanks

I managed to solve it .I believe that the main issue was that it couldnt convert from hfs to apfs.
What I have done,it was to include anything from the Clover confuguration relating the apfs .Additionally, I erased the disk using windows in ntfs .Then, I followed the instructions to install the os with success.
The only problem now, I have not figured a way to solve how the Mac to recognise the u630.

hi
ilias, how do you solevd it,i got the same problem (disk can not convertible to apfs).can you tell me~thank u very much

If you are able to reach the setup screen, use "Disk Utility" to format the disk as APFS, that way setup will not have to convert it from NTFS/HFS to APFS

this didn·t work

What exactly didn't work? Disk utility? Formating? Install afterwards?
Have you verified you have all necessary APFS drivers installed with clover?

this didn·t work

Try erasing in fat32 or Exfat, DOSfat etc.. first if it erases without error then try erasing in HFS or APFS. If there are remnants of Windows on the disk it may cause an error.

Try this:
Format the disk USING WINDOWS via the the tool which Microsoft provides us. I have to mention that you should not do this by just pressing the right click on the drive and format.

2:From the clover configuration, instal everything which it is relating with apfs either driver bios 64t or uefi 64. Additionally, install the hfs plus64+.
3 In the disk utility, first press "view all" in slide bar the select the whole disk and not the partition. Then, you have to erase the disk as hfs and rename it with whatever name, you want.

I believe that following the above steps, it will help you to overcome this. I have done this twice with success.

On the other hand, I would like someone to help me how I could the gpu can be recognised from the os.
Additionally, sometimes, I noticed that when I have filled my password in order to log in, it is freezing without proviknh kernel panic. I can not find the reason why it is doing this and the shut down doesn't work.
