Just wanted to see if I might be able to get support in installing El Capitan on this computer:

(Have created Unibeast USB Clover legacy successfully and can boot it, but attempting install always kernel panics. Used safe mode as well as nv_disable=1 and cpus=1 - none worked) Below is specs, lspci, and screen shot of kp. Any help, much appreciated.

I'm trying to do the same thing....Thinking it has to do with UHCI errors but the pro hackintosh guys will have to check in.......I was messing with it last night!!!

STEP 1: BIOS SETTINGS
You will need to set your BIOS to ACHI mode and your Boot Priority to boot from CD-ROM first. This is the most important step, and one many people overlook. Make sure your bios settings match these. It's not difficult- the only thing I did on my Gigabyte board besides setting Boot Priority to CD/DVD first was set Optimized Defaults, change SATA to AHCI mode, and set HPET to 64-bit mode.

I'm have the same model, but I'm on Yosemite.
I'm using the Asus EN210 graphics card, and USB sound card.

Build-in sound causes system stability issue. Uninstall that and get a USB sound card.
Sleep is not working, and I think power management is also not working.

This is what I usually do.
You'll need Unibeast and Multibeast

Unibeast to build the USB installation for Yosemite.

1. Set BIOS to default on boot.
2. Unplug everything including the external video card, except for
- 1 stick of memory
- 1 HDD and CDROM
- USB mouse and keyboard
3. Install Yosemite via USB Unibeast.
4. Boot using the following options
-x -f -v GraphicsEnabler=No
5. Performance will be bad due to the GraphicEnabler=No.
6. When installation is completed, proceed with Multibeast customization.
7. Shutdown PC when done.
8. Insert your graphics card.
9. Set BIOS to default on boot.
10. Boot using the following options
-x -f -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes
11. Start Multibeast to complete the customization.
12. Do a repair permission using Disk Utility.

Hope that helps. :)

I confirm Yosemite on HP Compaq 6000 Pro sff + Gigabyte N210 too - installed using Clover without Problems.
Direct update to El Capitan gives me the same errors, so i give it up and remain on 10.10.5 :)

Hey guys,
I try to run this on a HP 6000 Pro MT, not the SFF version. Installed Yosemite with UniBeast (Clover version) w/o problems but as soon as I try to install Clover on the SSD (even tried to dd the USB EFI partition to SSD EFI) and reboot reach the login screen but after entering credentials I run into a loop!
Any idea?

/update1:
  1. Okay it was the video card. I have to patch my DSDT for a ATI Radeon 5450. Unfortunately I can't find the PEG0 or PEGP part... it's just PEG1,2,3 ... any idea?
  2. USB seems to be USB v1 right now, if I see the speed. Is there a working DSDT for our mainboard?
