So I've built this new Hack and chose to go with Kaby Lake based on some success a few people have had here with it based on the info in these posts:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-twsps-build-asus-z270i-strix-i7-7700k-hd-630.216999/

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ro-k1200-samsung-960pro-nvme-imac17-1.215787/

It seems I've tried everything I can think of from different UEFI settings to config.plist changes to different kexts in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other & I can't seem to be able to boot into the installer.

I've built UniBeast USB 3.0 & USB 2.0 Sierra 10.12.3 install sticks in UEFI mode and it keeps kernel panicking/rebooting. One of the last messages I can make out before it reboots is "IOUSBFamily (900.4.1) I think. I wish the damn thing would at least freeze so I could at least get a picture of it.

I'm attaching my config.plist if anyone can provide feedback.

The following is what I have for BIOS/UEFI settings (there is no option anywhere in the UEFI (F3, latest version) to enable or disable CSM) :

    • Fast Boot: Disabled
    • VT-d: Disabled
    • Windows 8/10 Features: Other OS
    • LAN PXE Boot Option ROM: Disabled
    • Storage Boot Option Control: UEFI
    • Network Stack: Disabled
    • Other PCI Devices: UEFI
  • In Peripherals:
    • Initial Display Output: IGFX
    • Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT): Disabled (also tried enabled)
    • SW Guard Extensions (SGX): Disabled (also tried enabled)
    • Trusted Computing: Disabled
    • Intel BIOS Guard: Disabled
    • USB Configuration: Legacy USB Support: Disabled (also tried enabled), XHCI Hand-off: Enabled, USB Mass Storage Driver Support: Enabled, Port 60/64 Emulation: Enabled
  • In Chipset:
    • VT-d: Disabled
    • High Precision Time: Enabled
    • IOAPIC 24-119 Entries: Disabled (also tried enabled)

The following is all I have in my /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other:

- AppleIntelE1000e.kext
- FakeSMC.kext
- HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_3.kext
- XHCI-200-series-injector.kext (tried with & without, makes no difference)
- USBInjectAll.kext (tried with & without, makes no difference)
Also tried adding FakePCIID.kext, made no difference

Other Hardware:

- Jonsbo U2 Silver Case
- Corsair SF600 PSU
- Samsung 960 EVO M.2 256GB SSD
- 2 Crucial BX100 SSDs & 1 MX200 SSD

Maybe you've already found help, but if not take a close look at:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-sierra-on-kabylake-h270n-wifi.218494/

This helped me a LOT. All credit to jktaurus8 for an excellent guide.

I have almost the exact same HW as you, but use a regular SATA SSD rather than m.2 etc.

GA-H270N-WIFI
I7 7700

For bios, follow the above guide, I have 64mb with 128mb max set for Graphics.

I had one issue that once I got HD630 graphics working my Dell U2515H display would only show 2048x1152, rather than 2560x1440. I have a Skylake NUC working perfectly on El Capitan so thought it might be a Sierra issue, but installing "audio_cloverHDMI-120.command" solved my problem of full resolution being missing. I'd skipped that part of above guide obviously by mistake...

On top of the above guide I created an SSDT for the I7 7700 cpu, place that in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

My entire PC side Clover (not the USB side EFI) is attached for reference. Just placed a "BLANK" over Serial numbers etc in SMBios, use the wand to create your own serials if you copy rather than use it for reference.

Running Sierra 10.12.3 - have not dared to update yet to 10.12.4 as I've just gotten this running.
