Hey guys,

Here's my current configuration:

CPU - Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler - KrakenX62
Motherboard - Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING
Memory -G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000
Storage - ADATA ULTIMATE SU800 3D NAND 2.5" INTERNAL SSD 1TB
- SAMSUNG EVO 500 GB SSD (Windows 10)
Video Card - EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC 11GB
Keyboard: Alienware AW768
Case - In Win 805
Power Supply - Corsair HX1200
Monitor - Alienware AW3418DW

I would ideally like to keep the dual boot option at startup for either windows 10 or Mac OSX
- Will the onboard Wifi work on the z370-e?
- Will the NZXT Hue+ work with Mac OSX?

I'd like to do a hackintosh build, can you please guide me through the process? Is there already a build guide for this mobo/CPU/GPU combo?

Thanks

The onboard wifi will not work, you have to change it, DW1830 is a good option.

As far for the NZXT Hue+ i am not sure.

You can follow pastrychef guide, he using G model, but you wiil not have any problem at all.

pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i7-8700K + AMD Vega 56

The only difference is that he use an AMD gpu, but this is minnor problem. You only have to use Nvidia Web Drivers.

Yeah, your onboard WiFi and Bluetooth is not compatible, but you should otherwise get a highly functional hack using Pastychef’s guide.

He did change to AMD video card and I highly recommend making the switch yourself. But his EFI folder will still work for you if you stick with your nvidia card.

Just be aware that you can NOT use Pastrychef’s usb ssdt, because the USB ports on the Z370I are completely different. So, your options are to just use the port limit patch and have some ever-present bugs in your system, OR make your own USB ssdt following the guides and get it working well.
