My Hac and Geekbench results

i have so different results with running geekbench

2 x 2Gb Ram Hynix 1333 - 11600
1 x 4Gb Ram Corsair 1600 - 10000

How and Why?!

Most likely the first result is due to uising a Dual Channel Kit, and the second is just a single stick of Ram.

Spreading the workload over 2 channels is faster than using a single channel, as it causes a "Bottle Neck" to occur on said channel. Dual channels allows more work to be done, without the bottleneck. Same applies for triple channel configurations.

How and Why?!

Dual channel. The better transfer rate for RAM is figured into the final number.

On a positive note, both these two numbers are totally hypothetical and have no real-world-value or -use =P
