My first PowerMac G5 mod

so I bought this Mac about 4 months ago and I invested a lot of time and I reaplace a lot of parts in this machine but never got it working so today starts my build log of this bad boy to make it something usable

Here is the PowerMac G5’s parts mostly taken out and a picture of the almost empty case (most of you have probably already seen this)

man, that is a pretty clean set of internals for a G5! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I have completely gutted the machine out, with the exception of the top shelf which I am currently working on to get out and this is what I will look like when I’m done.

I plan on using the original fan assembly, I’ll replace the fans of course, and the shelf and cpu cover plate thing to hide the cables and other stuff
