About a week ago i started noticing that my time was constantly off. At first i thought it was changing time zones but then i noticed it was off constantly by irregular amounts. Today as i was setting it back to the correct time i noticed that the clock literally runs quicker. A rough guess suggests that two seconds on my CustoMac is roughly about 1 real-life second. Im not dual-booting. Its a dedicated system running 10.6.8 on hardware as mentioned on my profile. Anyone has any suggestions as to what may cause this?

Re: My CustoMac is time travelling!

Problem solved. I read on another forum that i might have been related to having the wrong CPU identifier in boot.plist. Just to be sure, i reloaded the optimized default settings in bios and ran Multibeast again. That did the job. I had changed the CPU identifier a while ago in an attempt to install the Lion update which i never managed to install anyway. I just hadn't reverted the settings yet. My CustoMac is now obeying the laws of physics once more!
