After a lot of googling and foruming I've decided to put together following system:

Intel Core i5-2500K
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3
Sapphire 5850 Xtreme Crossfire (W7)

Are you going to use 2xHD5850? Maybe two cards will work but without performance increase.
Other parts are ok.

I will be using MacOS and W7
Crossfire will only be used when gaming in W7.

Depends on the card. With a HD6870 max. four screen.

I don't want to go in guessing. But I think it won't work.

Finally got my build.
But when installing if found out that my second radeon blocks the 3 sata ports on Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3.

So I decided to sent the Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 back and buy the GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3.

But now I have another question.
Which cpu cooler should I buy?
Should I stay with the boxed cooler?
If not which one of these two:
Scythe Mugen II rev. B
Noctua NH-D14

I'd get a Hyper 212+, best bang for the buck.
