Hi gyus, finally I have finished my Mac Pro case to fit the atx parts there. I am going to build a very basic build and going to update the parts later as funds will be available later. Do you think this will work? With minimal hacks and modifications to the hardware (especially the CPU)? thank you

MB: Gigabyte GA-Q77M-D2H
CPU: Intel Pentium G2020
RAM: Corsair 2+2 GB XMS3 1333 MHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GT640 ---- or GT650
BootDisk: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 6GB/S
PSU: DELL precision J556T 875W silver

It should work OK but the PSU is way overkill. For what you list, 350W-400W would be plenty. If you are trying to provide for expansion. 600W would be enough. Better to look at what PSU will fit in the Mac Pro case before making a final decision. Check out the PSUs used in other Mac Pro case builds at http://www.tonymacx86.com/mac-pro-mods/
