Mute volume not working

Hi,

my new hack (GA-Z77-DS3H, i5-3750K, GT640) is working pretty well, but there's one thing with audio: I can't mute the volume, the box in the audio settings is greyed out.
I installed the current ALC887/888b drivers (DSDT-free) in MultiBeast... Everything else with audio is working perfectly, inlcuding the front panel audio ports. Any suggestions on how to enable the mute volume function?

You may try the VoodooHDA driver -> works including mute, but it may make your system run unstable. I had 60% kernel panics on boot when installed Voodoo.
