Multiple Nvidia graphics

Hi there, I'm struggling to install dual graphics cards.

slot 1 - nvidia geforce8400
slot 2 - nvidia quadro fx 4000 (fermi)

I can't get the machine to boot if I insert the 4000...

I need it in this config for software reasons.

I've tried all sorts but have no sucess.

System is HP Z600 Workstation with dual quad cores and 4gb ram.

On SL 10.6.5 installed on iboot-Gfx with tonymac Nvidia update...

You have to do it through EFI strings.

Basically, you will need to pull 1 card and run IORegistryExplorer and get all the details about it. Then put it back in and remove the other and run IOReg again and get details.

Then you need to create a plist for multiple cards with those values and then turn that into an EFI string.
